Over this four week course, experienced and well-known, botanical artist Julie McEnerny will guide the group through the skills required to produce a new botanical drawing/painting in watercolour each week.
All materials are included and a different botanical specimen will be provided each week
Classes are held in a a supportive and fun environment and you will be encouraged to observe the unique details of each part of the plant before using professional-grade watercolour pencils and paper to create an accurate, artistic representation of botanical specimens from the local area.
This class is suitable for all skill levels.
Learn the botanical names of the plant specimens used in sessions.
Learn watercolour pencil techniques.
Learn to study and accurately render a plant specimen.
Each participant will complete four botanical drawing to take home.
